Best Chinese food in town! You can't beat the service. You can count on your food isn't made until you order it. Food is hot and fresh. They have plenty of different dishes to choose from. The combination meals are a great deal. You get a main dish and fried rice and either an egg roll or two crab rangoons. They're definitely worth trying if you haven't tried it for yourself.

Stopped in for a quick meal near closing time with some friends. We ended up eating inside the restaurant and we were very pleasantly surprised with some great American Chinese food. The atmosphere in the restaurant lends itself more to take out. It’s something between a fast food and sit down restaurant. But don’t let that dissuade you from eating there. The food was really quite delicious. And the restaurant was absolutely clean. We had the combination plates of pepper beef, sweet and sour chicken, egg fu yong and Mongolian beef and an appetizer of fried dumplings. The combination plates come with fried rice and a pork egg roll. The beef was tender and delicious and a very good quantity - served hot and fresh! The egg fu Yong was delicious and came as a large portion of three patties. We liked the egg rolls as well as the pork fried dumplings. There was take home as the four of us could not finish everything! The owner was fantastic and very pleasant with us. We enjoyed her as a server and as a person we could talk with and get recommendations from. We had just had some Chinese takeaway 5 days ago in Wisconsin and this restaurant (Asian Star) was far better with more taste and that umami sensation of flavor. Both take out and dine in are good options, but I am certain most of their business is take away. We would recommend Asian Star if you are in the Wagoner Oklahoma area and craving some Chinese food. The food is a good a you will find anywhere for 30 miles around.

I absolutely Love this place. The girl at the front counter has the coolest personality, and the cook is extremely fast. The food is great, and the pork egg rolls and sauce are so addictive. I usually get about 4 for myself. I will return as often as possible!

We picked our seat! Three members of my family have Alpha-Gal and two of the three are gluten-free. Our waitress was SUPERB! She put all the pork egg rolls on the person's plate who could eat them. The rest of us didn't have to risk cross-contamination. I was able to get the Cashew Chicken without the brown sauce. Instead I used sweet and sour plus General Tso's. It was the best cashew chicken I have ever had!!! My brother ordered his Hunan Beef at the correct spicy level. My mother left pleased. My husband enjoyed egg drop soup. We were all full, happy people when we left.

The online ordering directly with the restaurant was super easy. The Crab Rangoon was the best I've ever had! The shrimp lo mein and General Tso's chicken were fabulous and the portions very generous. We will definitely be back for more!!

Delicious food! Huge portions at reasonable prices. The staff was attentive, polite and cheerful. We'll be back.

Never Disappoints! Excellent food and fantastic service. The freshness of the meat and vegetables, consistency in flavors and presentation, and the good service, make this little Chinese restaurant one of my very favorites. Today, Szechwan Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken and Egg Drop soup. Outstanding food at the remarkable lunch price. It cannot be beat. According to the owner, the families operating the other Asian Star restaurants, scattered around eastern Oklahoma [Pryor, Tahlequah, Tulsa, and Sallisaw] are all related. It is a small local chain.
